3.4.0 Supportive Learning Resources |
||||||
|
Ongoing assessment of available learning resources suggests that there has been considerable success in most areas. • The Library reports better than average satisfaction from users in critical areas. • The Academic Success Center reports improvement in student academic performance. • The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Learning Community, though new, reports a high level of enthusiasm and engagement on the part of students. • Although continuing education has been challenged to make a number of technological transitions, it continues to report significant success. • The services provided by the Counseling Center have become increasingly critical over the past decade. Continued success in providing learning resources will require Iowa State to expand and improve resources that support new modes of teaching and learning, to continue and develop assessment of the effectiveness of current resources, to examine allocation of resources in efforts to support increasing numbers of students, and to investigate how learning resources (e.g., distance education) can best support the institutional mission.
