Hobbies and Interests…

If you are looking for me, you would probably find me doing one or many of the following.

KNITTING: I have taken up knitting as my newest hobby. Knitting is no longer only the pastime of grandmothers determined to make the most embarrassing sweaters with Santa Claus plastered across the chest. My first project is a scarf.

PAINTING: Creating and admiring art already created by the hands of artists such as Salvador Dali.

READING: A good book is not hard to find. There are just too many out there. I recommend authors/book such as Jodi Picoult (The Pact), Alice Seabold (The Lovely Bones), Sue Monk Kidd (The Secret Life of Bees), or even the Bible!

PHOTOGRAPHY: Capturing what you see can be such a challenge.

RUMMAGING: I work for an auctioneer and I love to see what hidden treasures I can find while on the job at an estate; you can find some of the most interesting things by going through a person’s belongings. Antiques, crystal, jewelry; you name it, I’ve found it.

COOKING: I’m still learning, but I love trying to whip up a nice meal.

SETTLERS OF CATAN: This game rocks my world. It’s our favorite get together activity.

EXERCISING: I enjoy getting a good work out through running, Pilates, biking, or walking.
