SB 357.33 Practices for Special Areas. Great Britain
This directory, a service of Plants for a Furture, provides information on edible trees and shrubs within Great Britain. The listings reflect over 300 types of trees and shrubs which have some edible part, permissible for human consumption. The creators have subdivided the listings for easier browsing.
Users will find an alphabetical listing of the directory's contents, as well as a key to the symbols found within the site's tables on the plants. Access is also available to the older version of this WWW site, as well as the Plants for a Future homepage.
After selecting a category, based on the plant's name, users will find a table displaying information on the plant. These items include: the type (or kind) of plant; the plant's botanical name; the plant's common name; any edible parts; and specific notes on the plant.
The site is maintained by Plants for a Future; Cornwall, England.
