Summary:
Neurosciences on the Internet "...contains a searchable and browsable index
of neuroscience resources available on the WWW and other parts of the
Internet...Neurobiology, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, psychology,
cognitive science sites and information on human neurological diseases are
covered." The site is a division of the WWW site, NeuroGuide.
Within the site's main page are seven major links. "Getting Started"
explains the site's purpose; users should scroll to view this document.
"How to Use This Resource" offers explanations on accessing the site;
links are provided for a standard search, for browsing, and for random
searches. "Table of Contents" offers a link to view the contents in an
outline form or to perform a search (via a field which contains major site
topics). Users should scroll to view the subtopics within a given major
category; in most cases, a second specification is needed to narrow the
search. Final search results will offer an alphabetical list of resources
in which titles are direct links to the WWW.
"Search Database" produces a query page with search fields; users should
scroll to view matching site titles. Here, titles are direct links to the
WWW. "Contribute" allows users to offer feedback and site additions through
