Summary:
A guide to the characteristics and needs of 98 genera of foliage house
plants, the Directory of Foliage House Plants provides answers to common
questions about plant maintenance and care.
Most of the directory's foliage house plants"...flourish with little care if
their specific needs are tended." Fertilizing instructions are "...based
on the assumption that plants were potted in a nourishing mixture before

them, all directions are aimed at maintaining the plant's health rather than
stimulating their growth." The site's creators urge that plant owners
"...provide as much artificial light as possible..." and "[a]void
overheating the foliage." All of the directory's featured plants are listed
alphabetically by their Latin botanical names, recognized worldwide. Common
names are cross-referenced to their Latin counterparts for easy reference.
