Final Examinations Fall 2008

In addition to contact times listed below, you need to view times for large course exams.

Time for examinations is determined by the student's first contact of the week in each course.

Other notes:

• All classes beginning at 5:00 p.m. or later are considered to be evening classes. The final will be 7:00-9:00 on the day of the week the course usually meets.
• Instructors for courses with lectures scheduled at 6:00 p.m. or later should give their examinations during final week from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the day the class normally meets.
• The instructor will announce the date and time the final exam will be administered in those courses not provided for on the exam schedule, such as courses with first contact hour Tuesday at 12 or on Wednesday. Instructors in such courses may call the Registrar's Office, 4-1566, to arrange for an exam time and Room Scheduling, 4-5338, to reserve a room.
• For courses not starting on the hour or ten minutes past the hour -- The first hour following the half hour should be used to determine the first contact. For example, courses beginning at 8:30 would use the 9:00 contact hour or 2:30 would use the 3:10.
