Contract Description

The Iowa State University Purchasing department has awarded contracts to five vendors for the purchase of task chairs for the University. Purchasing has contracts for fourteen different chairs. Each chair went through an extensive evaluation procedure including ergonomic requirements, cost, use of features, comfort and construction.

The resulting awards give the University a wide range of chairs to select from. Each chair can be purchased with all of the ergonomic features or some may be removed if requested. The chairs range from $272.61 to $666.90, if purchased as per the base contract model. Samples of these chairs are located in the Purchasing Department at the Administrative Services Building (ASB) in a designated location.

How to Use Contract

Most chairs will need to be ordered via a web requisition.

Purchasing has established a website with Storey Kenworthy that allows the ordering of a limited amount of products using your ISU p-card. The site can be accessed through AccessPlus under the p-card menu. all items ordered on this website will be shipped to Central Stores. Normal p-card restrictions and limits apply.
