General Announcements

Announcement regarding homework, exams, and any changes or additions to the syllabus etc. are to be found here. It is recommended that this page be checked frequently. Not all announcements appearing here may be repeated in class.

01/14/08 - JMP is available free to ISU faculty, staff and students for Linux, Mac, and Windows OS platforms. The current license runs from July 1st through June 30th, so it is necessary to renew/install JMP annually. Detailed renewal/download instructions for Windows Users are available from the link in the homepage. Windows Users may also download JMP from AIT's Scout Software.

Detailed renewal/download options for Mac Users are also available there . If you have no network connection, or a slow one, you can contact the Solution Center (195 Durham) and ask about other methods of obtaining JMP for your computer, OR borrow a JMP Installer CD from the Department of Statistics.

04/22/08 - A copy of the Final exam give in the Fall of 2007 is linked on the Past Exams page. An answer key will be available later.

FINAL EXAM : TIME AND PLACE SWEENEY 1126 12:00-2:00 P.M., MONDAY MAY 5

Your final exam will be comprehensive but more emphasis will be on material covered since Exam II (i.e., on multiple regression and analysis of variance)

Note the following carefully:

Bring pencils, scratch paper, eraser, calculator.

3 or 4 pages of sheets of formulas you wish to have with you. Examples and definitions are not to be included in these sheets.

Your ISU ID might be checked during and when you turn in the exam. Your seat in the room will be preassigned.

You are not allowed to bring any communication devices such as cell phones, MP3 players etc. You may not use ear phones during the exam.

You will not be allowed to use your textbook or notes on this exam. Any tables needed will be supplied.
