Current Research Opportunities

We are using an integrated experimental/biocomputational approach to understand the factors that regulate plant development and composition. A practical consequence of this work is that it will affect our ability to use molecular technologies to direct plants, a biorenewable energy source, to accumulate large quantities of industrially-useful chemicals, and improve our food supply.

I have two research positions (graduate student and postdoctoral) open in the areas of Plant Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, and Computational Biology. I also have research opportunities for two motivated undergraduates with an interest in bioinformatics and skills in computer science/mathematics.
