Terrorism and the Global Trading System
Course: Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) 350D, section X
Assess the actual terrorist threats to the global trading system: specific targets related to the movement of physical goods, the probabilities of attack, and the implications of such attacks. Second, examine the policies being implemented by states to combat these threats and evaluate their effectiveness. Finally seek answers to: Why would terrorists attack these targets? What are the costs and the benefits of implementing anti-terror policies on global trade? What are the myths and realities of terrorist threats to global trade?
