British Columbia, Canada, Biz Resource provides a good starting point

room called "Biz Chat" to chat with other business owners in realtime.
A service provided by Franchise and Entrepreneur
magazines, the Business Resale Network provides free access to thousands

The Business Resource Center by Khera Communications,
Inc. uses technology to help organizations stay in touch with customers and
build business. Services include internet publishing, consulting, and space
leasing on the World Wide Web. It also provides information on building
a web site and the Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500. The site
provides a series of articles that focus on business planning, marketing,
and management. In addition, it has an active discussion forum and also

CELCEE is an ERIC adjunct clearinghouse,
created in January 1996 as a joint project of the University of California,
Los Angeles and the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL), Ewing
Marion Kaufman Foundation. The CEL Clearinghouse on Entrepreneurship
Education (CELCEE) identifies sources of information on aspects of entrepreneurship

The Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership promotes
the growth of entrepreneurship in America. The Center's Entrepreneur

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission enforces a variety of
federal antitrust and consumer protection laws. The Commission seeks

In 1996, from a generous donation from John Pappajohn, separate Centers for Entrepreneurship were established at Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, Drake University, the University of Iowa, and Northern Iowa Community College. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was
created by Congress in 1953 to help America's entrepreneurs form successful
small enterprises. Today, SBA's program offices in every state offer
financing, training and advocacy for small firms. These programs are delivered
by SBA offices in every state, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands
and Puerto Rico. In addition, the SBA works with thousands of lending,
educational and training institutions nationwide.
The Small Business Advancement Center is located at the
University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas and has a lot of useful

Each state has a Small Business Development Center
with branch offices located throughout the state. This is the web
site for the SBDC in Iowa. It provides information useful to anyone
