in Child, Adult, and Family Services
Administered by the Department of Human Development and
Family Studies. Leading to the degree bachelor of science. Total
credits required: 128.
The child, adult, and family services curriculum, with options
in child programs, youth programs, adult programs, family programs,
and policy and advocacy, prepares students for professional work
with children, adults, and families in a variety of public and private
human service agencies and organizations. Examples include schools,
child care programs, youth programs, adult programs, services to
the elderly, community action, policy/advocacy work, and crisis
intervention.
A minor in child, adult, and family services is available; the
