Curriculum in Landscape Architecture
The department offers a 5-year curriculum, requiring 149.5 credits,
leading to the degree bachelor of landscape architecture. These
credits are distributed between a one-year preprofessional program
of 32.5 credits and a 4-year professional program of 117 credits.
Admission into the professional program depends upon available
resources and is subject to the approval of a faculty committee
at the completion of the preprofessional program. Applicants must
complete a specified core of courses and are reviewed on the basis
of a portfolio of original work, scholastic performance, and a written
essay.

Graduate students pursuing the M.L.A. may concurrently enroll in
the undergraduate program to earn the B.L.A. The actual courses
