2D TOCSY with water flip-back and WATERGATE

Description	2D TOCSY with bipolar gradients during evolution, z-filtered mixing period, isotropic mixing sequence TOWNY-16 for suppression of cross-relaxation artifacts, water flip-back prior to read-out pulse, and WATERGATE solvent suppression. Employs magic angle field gradients.

Instructions

1. Acquire a 1D data set to determine SW. Calibrate p1 (¹H 90° pulse at pl1=0, 9 to 13 µs) and p9 (¹H 90° pulse at pl10=12, 35 to 40 µs).

2. Create a 2D experiment and read in parameter set.

3. Set p1 and p9. Adjust d1, d8 (mixing time, 30 to 80 ms), 1 sw = 2 sw and ns as required for your sample.

4. Set pulprog = toc_setup.bf. Set rg = 128. In gs mode adjust sp1 and phcor13 iteratively to optimize the water flip-back pulses, i.e, minimize the FID.

5. Reset pulprog = tocsyfl.bf. Set rg = 1024. In gs mode adjust sp2 and phcor14 iteratively until WATERGATE is optimized.
