Description 2D NOESY with bipolar gradients during evolution, water flip-back prior to read-out pulse, and WATERGATE solvent suppression. Employs magic angle field gradients.

Pulse Sequence noesyfl.bf
Parameter Set noesyfl.bf
Parameters to be Adjusted p1, ns, d1, d8, sp1, phcor13, sp2, phcor14

Instructions

  1. Acquire a 1D data set to determine SW. Calibrate p1 (1H 90° pulse at pl1=0, 9 to 13 µs).

  2. Create a 2D experiment and read in parameter set.

  3. Set p1. Adjust d1, d8 (mixing time, 50 to 500 ms), 1 sw = 2 sw and ns as required for your sample.

  4. Set pulprog = noe_setup.bf. Set rg = 128. In gs mode adjust sp1 and phcor13 iteratively to optimize the water flip-back pulse, i.e, minimize the FID.

  5. Reset pulprog = noesyfl.bf. Set rg = 1024. In gs mode adjust sp2 and phcor14 iteratively until WATERGATE is optimized.
